Happy Earth Month!
I wanted to share this TikTok about creating ecobricks — this user isn’t necessarily advocating building with them, but rather just the act of collecting your non-recyclable plastic waste in a condensed “brick.” Watch the video for more info!
When working on reducing plastic waste, it can be helpful to see just how much you are creating.
Bosch eats LA
This week, everyone’s favorite (read: my favorite) dad-show Bosch: Legacy came to an end. While I hope this isn’t the last we see of Harry Bosch and co., from the introduction of Maggie Q’s character in the finale, it seems like the upcoming Ballard spin-off series, may actually take place in a different universe — the westside. (Crossing my fingers we’ll still see plenty of Hollywood!)
Anyway, here’s a ranked list of some of my favorite eateries that kept Bosch alive. I loved nothing more than seeing one of my favorite spots feature in Bosch.
El Compadre: one of the best, no notes.
Swingers: nothing beats a late-night Swingers run.
Poquito Mas: hits every time.
Musso & Frank: classic for a reason.
Nickel Diner: Bosch said they had the “Best chocolate shake in LA” — I’m not a shake girlie, but it was much more cinnamon-forward then I was expecting!
The Farmer’s Market Du-par’s: last for a reason.
“Maybe Tony Chocolonelyed so Hormble could Chormble”
Please read this delightful article about Hormbles Chormbles chocolate bars, which popped up in my Instagram ads out of no where.
Sit tight, I have taken one for the team and ordered the sample pack. Watch this space.
That’s it for this week! I know my focus is shifting away from fashion here — I am multifaceted! And I have been less interested in shopping lately! Hope you don’t mind.
Bye, loves!
Josie
I've been sleeping on Bosch Legacy!! And would welcome another spinoff with open arms.
I love everything you write, no matter the topic. Never stop. Guess I should watch Bosch
